Drive up the Versveld Pass, down the other side and experience one the distinctive places of the Piket-bo-berg.

Here you will find a picturesque tea garden set under trees, adjacent to a beautiful rock fishpond.  At the nursery they cultivate more then 30 species of fuchsias which are in high demand, and are sold to large nurseries throughout Cape Town. The Vissers have also build an unusual mini-golf course and have developed a camping site. They specialize for visiting tour groups.

Camping, caravan and braai facilities are available.  
Note that the caravan facilities are up a fairly steep incline, and so a strong vehicle will be required for the caravan.

The nursery has a large variety of healthy plants.  Expert advice is also available to the garden enthusiasts.

The tea Garden provides for deserts, beverages, and light meals.  The light meals consisting of Toasted sandwiches with chips.

Directions:

• Come into Piketberg, take Langberg road, stay on Langberg road and go through the town.

• At the end of Langberg road there is a T-Junction. Turn right.

• Travel for about 1 km, there will be a turning to the left with a sign saying "VERSVELD PASS"

• Take the turn to the left and go up the pass.  Stay on this road until it ends at a T-Junction.

• Turn left and drive for about 4 km, until you see a Nursery and Tea Garden sign on your left.  Just after a single vehicle bridge.
